Firstly I'd like to thank you for visiting this site. I maintain the site in my spare time (I have a full time job as well) and my aim is to bring Jamiroquai information and news to the fans.

This site is run and maintained by myself, David Rowe, with help from my wife Sharon. Very briefly, I live in London, England. I was born in 1973, graduated from university in 1995 and got married in 1998. Since 1996 I've been running this web site. I also get a huge amount of news and information for the site from visitors like yourself.

Following Jamiroquai's appearance at the Lovebox Festival in London in July 2006, a surprise party was held to celebrate 10 years of "Jamiroquai - The Funkin Site". A full write-up including photos of the celebration can be on the 10 Years of Funkin page.

Help Support The Site

As you may be aware, this is an unofficial site which has been 100 percent funded out of my own pocket since it began in 1996. I have always used commercial web hosting to ensure this is a pop-up free web site with fast and reliable access.

If you wish to make a donation to help fund a little bit of the bandwidth the site uses then it would be very much appreciated. Please be aware that I will still commit to paying the standard hosting fees each month (as I have done since 1996) out of my own pocket, and that any donations will go towards any excess bandwidth charges and not the standard web hosting fees. I will never try and charge users to access the site.

I am not Jay Kay, or a member of the band Jamiroquai - I am just a fan like you.
In addition to being just a fan, I do assist with the official Jamiroquai website where I manage the content on the site (e.g., news and photos).
I do not know of any upcoming tour dates that are not announced already on the News or Live sections of the site, so please don't ask me when the band are playing in your town or city as I honestly do not know.
Please do not ask me to contact the band directly. Please use the contact information given in the Frequently Asked Questions section.
I do not have all (or even half) of the releases listed in the music section. Much of this information has been provided by visitors like yourself.
